What do I do if the audio on my call stops working?

If the audio on your call stops working, the first thing to do is reset your call settings. Here’s how: 

  • Go to the audio settings in the video platform you’re using (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams) 
  • Change the Microphone and Speaker settings back to your Default settings (e.g. Default - MacBook Pro Microphone / Speakers)
  • Quit IRIS Clarity:
    • Go to the app in your taskbar
    • Click on the hamburger menu on the top right
    • Click “Quit app” (below the “Log out” button)
  • Restart IRIS Clarity:
    • Search for IRIS Clarity in your Applications folder on a Mac (or hit Cmd+Space and type in “Clarity”), or in the search bar located on your taskbar on Windows
    • Open the app
  • Go back to the audio settings in the video platform you’re using (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams)
  • Update the Microphone and Speaker settings back to IRIS
