Improving latency caused by high CPU usage
On laptops with limited resources, Microsoft Edge can often consume up to 45% of the system CPU. This has the knock on effect of degrading system performance along with the performance of IRIS clarity.
In particular, this can result in latency of speech, resulting in delay in conversation.
