The background noise slider — to adjust how much background noise you let in

Adjust the level of background noise for times when you actually want to hear it, like troubleshooting a beeping product or adjusting for people on speakerphone.

Slide the background noise slider to the right to allow more background noise and to the left to allow less background noise.

This is useful in the following cases:

  • When you’re talking to a quiet customer
  • When a customer is on speakerphone
  • When the call quality is poor and you can’t hear the customer well
  • When a customer has background noise you actually want to hear
  • When you’d like to have a slightly more ambient atmosphere to the call
